What is your excuse for still not owning a 3d printer?

My case only had two slots for 3.5 hdds.
I projected a new one on fusion 360.
3d printed this new part.
Now my case has an extra 3.5 slot.

Buy one to print yourself a gun if you don't already have one. Parts kits can be ordered online in the US and printing the 'lower' is the technical gun part.

Then use it like OP does to not order cheap shit from China all the time.

I'm poor, nvm, I don't need a machine for print dildos

too soon

RIP animu girl

nothing, I have one

based
i printed myself a bunch of similar recently for my optiplex 3020 NAS build

:)

doesn't the x axis bounce?

cats and size
the mini ones online seem like they're fire hazards

the ones that are good enough for my standards cost more than i want to pay

i expect them to hit the sweet spot in a few years time, decade at worst

>fall for the plastic jew and end up with a shit gun that'll be confiscated by the ATF before you can shoot it
>saying "lower" and then posting a handgun
No.
Also daily reminder 80% will be illegal come around august so get them quick

anycubic i3 mega s is the best beginner printer and is like $200 at most
you can't 3d print silicone so no dildos, PLA/ABS would snap inside you and be pretty bad
you mean Z axis and not really, although ones with two posts on Z are generally more stable. steady table and it should be fine.
>he doesn't know you can print nylon

But I do own a 3d printer.

In fact, my 3d printer was printed with a 3d printer.

Business idea. Make a kit that 3d prints a 3d printer that 3d printers a 3d printer

couple of reasons
>I've seen how shitty and frustrating the print quality can be from friends who own them
>oops the print head messed up on hour 3 of 12 so your whole print is fucked

>there's nothing I want to print
>I don't have enough time to learn how to design things that would actually be useful to me
>I don't mind spending money for quality of life things
>I'm not a tinkerer, I'd rather something get fixed right the first time
>I'm impatient

>90% of the printables online are useless toys or just a fucking joke in general
>out of the top 20 posts on r/functionalprint, only like 4 of them are things that actually serve a purpose that isn't a shitty hack and doesn't replace something that would cost less than $20 anyways
>oh wow a phone holder
>oh wow a shelf bracket
>oh wow a light switch blocker(???)
>oh wow fucking stencils

seems expansive. I always wanted to print 3d engines and assemble turbines to learn how that works is that feasible?

FDM prints look like shit unless you have a microscopic print head and print with maximum resolution. And I have nothing to print.

And I don't play Warhammer so I have no use for a resin printer.

literally reprap back in the day.

But soft plastic is shit for things that need to be strong, rigid and precise so you'll need metal parts to achieve non-shit quality printing.

Just ducktape your extra hdd to the bottom of your case. That's what I did. Why are you being such a retard about it?

I have nothing to print.
I had one for several months but after the initial excitement I literally couldn't think of anything to make with it.

because I don't know what I would print more than once

there seems to be a common issue in this
