I grew up calling it Kyiv because that’s how I learned the world. Though I don’t particularly think the Ukrainians care too much about the spelling here. It’s mostly splitting hairs because it’s not even written in the Latin script anyway. There are bigger fish to fry.

How are you doing? What are you doing in the ukraine? I though you lived in the US or Canada.
I don’t have one of my own. At least not yet. They’re worried about a shortage of arms so most women are making Molotovs, so scavenging for empty bottles and stuff. They’re using wooden guns to train people. Like I said, I’ll probably be loaded onto a truck and sent off to make sure the babushkas make it to Poland if shit gets real.
