I spent that time inside playing vidya all day because that’s how I had fun, and now I’m worried that I should have lived more wildly.

Because it does. Mine started going to shit starting at 28. and now that I literally hit 30 this year, it feels like it's peak shit from a social standpoint.

only if you're lucky and you still find crazy people who didn't "grow up". unfortunately all my friends settled down so I don't really have a circle to do dumb things anymore. just "grown up" social meetings which for most of the part, are boring as fuck.

I mean, for man-children such as yourself, post-30 sucks. I was always happy sitting around and having polite conversation, no drama, and a rewarding life.

Post-30 was like finally being able to live like I wanted without having to drink and fight just to prove myself a member of the manly group.

I didn't hate drinking and fighting, but it's way less chill than a charcuterie board, some respectable friends, and a good board game or an evening chatting.

For some, thing is I wished I was playing games instead. Drinking is fun for a bit when you are young but too much trouble when older. Gaming is too much trouble when older, you just have seen it all and hate the new games for their shitty writing and virtue signalling and thinking they can change the gamer through their subversive stories.
So, have fun when you can, either drinking and horsing around or playing games, but know that the time is running out for you to enjoy that and start thinking about other activities like lawn bowling.
