I should mention the mark higher up on my foot is a burn from where the drill touched my skin. They had to fuck off with some extra bone and put the drill at an angle to work it out.

lmao yeah, It's called "Arthrodesis." It's a legit procedure for end-stage arthritis in certain joints. The idea is that they fuse the joint into a single unit of bone so the joint can't grind and cause pain any more.

Thanks for the pic. Keep us updated. Wish I had taken photos of my many surgeries but I was pretty fucked up. Had a lots of stiches/staples on belly, back, knee. I expect to have a knee replacement this year after fucking up knee real good 20 years ago= full dislocation.

LMAO this dude ain't me. Here's another pic of the same ankle from a different angle for prove. You can still see the burn on the foot and my hairy ass toes, so it's verifiable.

I have a severe bleeding disorder that causes me to bleed internally without the ability to clot to stop it. I can take meds to help, but it's a lot of extra blood for the body to clear up, and the enzyme that the body releases to do so is an equal opportunity destroyer, and it leads to joints getting fucked up. Docs said they had no idea how I was even able to walk before the surgery, my bones were so fucked up. I was getting microfractures 3-5 times a day in my ankle and then just walking on the broken bones.

I've actually got prints of the x-rays, I'll try and get pics of them when my fiance gets home and can reach them for me

I got triple arthrodesis, still feel pain almost 10 years later, hopefully yours is better. Best of luck in recovery user.
