I'm starting a new job this upcoming Monday which is a healthcare position, all employees are required to be vaccinated, and boosted (three shots total). Frankly, I don't give a fuck and got vaccinated, on top of that I did get covid, got a wicked head cold for about a week straight. Had several people I know die from covid before the vaccinations, I live in a dense populace so it spread quite a bit here. Had a few friends refuse to get the vaccine, which frankly I don't really give a fuck about, but they sure as fuck sound quite uneducated when they try to reason why they don't want it.

My industry is requiring vaccination (plus booster depending on the individual teams' preference). I got boosted so I won't be left in the cold.
Other than that, my county just dropped the mask requirement in businesses regardless of if you've been vaccinated, ironically this being in a very progressive area of the US. Really strange how we all sort of said "meh" to covid, but I'm glad masks aren't ubiquitous anymore.

My Modernerino shots didn't affect me at all until the booster. Nothing more than fatigue until the third jab, and then I had to sleep off a 103 fever with delirium and body aches at my gf's parents' house since it hit me like a fucking truck 24 hours after getting it.

I work in allied health often in the aged care sector (although not classified as primarily aged care so lighter rules for me). I anticipate annual vax like the flu vax but I'm not doing anything more than I absolutely have to. Fuck this shit.
Luckily I was stricken ill at home and had peace and comfort while I prayed for the cold hand of death.

This is the best possible outcome given how trigger happy governments are to impose restrictions. I don't think anyone is going to take a mask/vaccine mandate seriously from here on out so it'll be more of a personal responsibility type deal.

The only reason I'm indifferent to a vaccine mandate is that my industry is very reliant on 100% vaxxed staff, so I am.
