did what, user? screencapped the toy laptop specs to show the itoddlers what misery they are paying for and make fun of them?

Nah I ordered one.

>96 watt power adapter
Jesus, I thought the whole point of switching to ARM was the super ultra mega maximum overdrive efficiency? Lmfao. My Ryzen 4500U Ideapad has a 65 watt adapter.

It’s just for fast charging.

Probably not even necessary for most people. My M1 Air came with a 30W adapter (bottom.) but for daily stuff it works just fine with the 20W Anker (top.) Have yet to put it under heavy load yet to see what happens.

Maxed out M1 Pro will still be at least 30% faster in most workloads, especially considering the active cooling.

>512GB
No

I'm getting this one

based and productivity pilled.

Why would I ever need more than that? I have a home server with 20TB of storage.

I was considering it too but
>no active cooling makes me think it might not do that great under CPU intensive tasks
>14” is ultimate comfy imo and I haven’t been able to find a good laptop with this size for over 5 years
Not a bad choice tho, user.

only 20?

I’m not a psychotic data hoarder, so yeah.

the m1 air with the $10 thermal pad mod outscores the m1 pro, so it's not an issue.

Got that one and it's the best machine I've owned, you'll enjoy working on it, user.
