the server came back up but the issue is still open.
honestly would be best to hand over if they're only doing maintenance and are very rarely active even on that. i'm not saying they drop it all and put you as the sole carrier, just, namesync itself kinda defunct next to frensync and they are never around, maybe push a NS update as a clone of frensync and just try keep the server alive and help you out, rather than absently heading a dead version of the project

Open the dev tools and then click on the FS settings. The original returns the correct JSON just like the clones.
Noko has it on some AWS bucket and has a second one monitoring that one. But the monitoring one didn't do its job.
If its dead, then handing over makes sense, yes.
But i think it dropped a lot in popularity. If you look ath the amount of users here and the amount that uses this... That looked entirely different a decade ago.
I'd gladly help as maintainer but like i said - there should be more than one person running this in the end.

namesync is so oddly complex too lol. cutesync is less than 500 lines, mostly raw, and the vast majority of it is the slightly-less-raw kscript library which i should probably get rid of for simplicity and user readability given people don't trust shit on their phones, and the 3 separate GET functions which could be one function with a parameter, i just kept what i was testing with cause it worked.
maybe it's back to me being a basic dumb bitch but milky and terrance always seemed to write things based around superfluous objects.
i know it works, it have a whole dumb php page for showing all 3 syncs data rather than write a JS popup, didn't know that was the issue tho.
no i know, that's what i'm saying, i'm not suggesting anyone stop, but F should be considered the version people maintain rather than N these days. making an N update that replaces it with F makes sense.
anyway it doesn't need that much thought atm everything is rolling good i'm getting on a tangent.
