If a blind evolutionary impulse, and only that, was responsible for "creating" humanity...

If a blind evolutionary impulse, and only that, was responsible for "creating" humanity, why do we ponder such things as love, truth, justice, beauty......and beauty is especially important, why would there be beautiful humans? There didn't need to be beautiful humans......cave people were ugly as fuck. We could've stayed that way forever. I find it impossible to believe that mere "evolution" would've allowed for such beautiful humans. Even if mankind started out as the product of blind evolution, God must have seasoned the bland meal of proto-humanity with everything in His cupboard, and voila. Beautiful humans.

I don't know. Therefore God. Could you at least try substantiating your explanation before jumping to it? Fucking ugly, disgusting, devoid of rational thought humans. HAILS SATAN.

Quit being such a fag

wonder why

Better face symmetry and other factors associated with beauty normally correlates to better health, which means more and healthier children. Kinda like a peacock who can spend all this energy making flashy feathers and survive is probably doing alright for itself

>blind evolutionary impulse
what do you mean blind?
we as humans value things of beauty in our partners, thus we filter our ugliness in evolution.

but if beauty wasn't there at the start of things, how would we desire beauty?

What's more important is how do you know it wasn't aliens and not God?

beauty isn't binary

the 'beauty' you mean is merely a pattern we are searching for reproduction. Just as a cow is beuatiful to a bull, a stoneage girl is beautiful
to a stoneage guy, and a modern girl is beautiful for a modern guy.

No need for a good to be involved.

>cave people were ugly as fuck
that's your perception and interpretation based on today's 'standard'.
i think your interpretation of evolution leads to your questions. work on that to find answers. no need for god

Introducing aliens doesn't negate the question, it only pushes the question back a step, and the question then just becomes "who created the aliens?" Even if you have a chain of aliens making more aliens, at some point you hit a dead end and are forced to ask whether God created life or whether life arose from pure random chance.

midwit

what was first? hen or egg? how do you know things we desire did not 'become' beautiful because we desired them?

>No need for a god to be involved.

*tips fedora*

It's a side effect of a brain complicated enough to craft specific tools, figure out the yearly cycle, learn agriculture and ultimately invent the whoopie cushion.

Beauty is purely symettry and proportion. Your brain is seeing the face is shaped in a symmetrical and we'll proportioned way.
That means very good genetics. It implies a lot else. That's what "beauty" is.
Everything we are had some form of evolutionary advantage.

>Everything we are had some form of evolutionary advantage.

yet there are many different species of life on earth besides humans, curious

you will never be human
you will never be white
you will never be intelligent
you will never be a woman
cut your dick off because god told you to, then kill yourself immediately mentally ill christoid tranny faggot.

I've typed a few responses trying to figure out how to get to you.. but I've ultimately realized that if you are this retarded and lack this much of an understanding of the random nature of evolution and how long millions of years are, and end your dumbass post with a floaty "Hmm curious" like you think you got me, then it's clear you are immensely Too retarded to actually understand any of this.

You're a little bit right that there is an optimum inevitability that most animals will come to because it's just so essential and useful it'll turn up again and again. You seem to think it's a whole animal. In truth it's really just something like "legs".

a better question is if humanity is meant to continue to procreate and there is no guarantee your offspring will be beautiful when grown-up then aren't you just making the world an uglier place by assuming everything was meant to be beautiful?

Truth and Justice and all that are valued because we evolved as tribal animals. Beauty is so that we can breed and continue our species. It's pretty important in the grand scheme of things that animals want to procreate.
