Need advice on how to kill this athlete's foot fungus living in these Nike's a friend gave me.
Someone suggested spraying Lysol in there and let it dry for a day or two before putting them on.
Baking soda and vinegar sounds like it might it might work but baking soda dries my feet out into a gross crackly mess.
Anti fungal spray sounds like a weak treatment since most sprays use Tolnaftate 1%.
What method have you used to get that funk gunk out your kicks Any Forums?

Trash the laces
Wash them to Nike recommendations
Leave them somewhere sunny for a week to fully dry, preferably outdoors
Use an anti-fungal spray and leave them for another week
Get new laces
Treat your damn feet too, and all other footwear
Probably get new socks
Don't wear them until your feet have fully cleared up
just grow the fucking fungus on ur feet, it's actually footmushroom
after a while u can scrape it and make mushroom pasta with it, much taste

The answer is place them in a plastic bag and freeze them.
Gross. Toss those shoes in the garbage. I got a very small infection on just the lower right quarter of my big toe and I attacked that like crazy with the clippers. It finally has grown back completely.

Ive washed nike/rebook shoes a couple of times, they're usually fine after, once just got a small 0,5 cm long scratch on a shoe
You need fluconazole to kill the fungus on your feet.
Bleach.
Moisten the inside with bleach, dunk your feet in bleach for a minute.
Its gonna suck, your skin is gonna get rekt, but it will nuke the fungus way faster and cheaper than any medication, I dealt with this when I had roomates and nothing but bleach actually killed it.
A sealed plastic tote with the shoes raised up one some kinda platform, fill the bottom of the tote with water + vinegar mix and let them stew in there for a day or two.
Then a few days to dry out somewhere warm but out of direct sunlight.
There's a non-zero chance this will discolour some part of the shoe, but it should effectively kill any fungus in it.
Wash em, spray em inside with lemon juice. Then freeze them for several days. That should kill everything budd.
