Any questions?

USB-C from a technical ability perspective is fantastic. I used a single USB connection to my monitor from laptop and had my keyboard, mouse, headset all connected to the monitor. All the data for these went through the USB-c and also charged my laptop. One cable!

However, on hardware level it's too fucking flimsy AND it's made fucking wrong. Why is the cable head made the way it is?? In the device IO there is a flat pin that goes into the cable head, why the fuck is it made like this? I've had two devices where because of regular use, dust and other shit has gotten into the device IO and now doesn't fully fit. It also feels flimsy as hell, like it's gonna break if I move my phone too much

This is a defect that is only obvious after long-term use. I just wish they had gone with a lightning cable style head.

They came with my MacBook.

This, literally this

It's great
Happy to have a smaller and faster form factor
The only reason to hate it is that you got groomed into using a makeshift pair of anal beads and got convinced to record you using it dressed as a cat girl with a mask during your sophomore year of college

*Make shift pair using a usbc cable

>I just wish they had gone with a lightning cable style head.

Lightning has a very positive/satisfying click when seated.

It just needed to be upgraded. Type-C is so janky.

Yes, but Apple Silicon is the best hardware improvement of the decade.

Yes 10000%. That's literally the only problem.

I feel like also just physically making the cable head a big bigger would be ok. Unless phone companies chimp out.

>In the device IO there is a flat pin that goes into the cable head, why the fuck is it made like this?
Because it's super easy to have two small cuts in the PCB create a connector.
No soldering.
No separate component that can bend or break (sure the PCB itself could technically break but that's far less likely).

> dust and other shit has gotten into the device IO
So get a toothpick and clean it out.
Wow so hard.

No it's amazing. I bet you use mac.

I hate Apple but the USB-C port on the Macbook Air I use for testing feels amazing.
It's just an Apple thing I guess, or rather other manufacturers haven't copied it for some reason.

I do. I hate Windows … because I end up having to fix all the boomer's laptops.

Enjoy your Edge browser, bro.

>he HAS to use Safari on his phone
>all the other browsers are literally just Safari with a different skin

You're about a decade late but congratulations I guess.

I vote this as the weakest bait of the day.
