Probably not, but I've grown up around hispanic people, so I'm used to it. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Mexicans in the field, especially in Cali. I've seen them in high level positions, accents and native features and all

Most programmers are white people and they're pretty racist, yes.
But more so, they're racist toward themselves, and so they give preferential hiring to people of color, women and trans people over each other because college has rotted their brains.
But for some reason, asians and and hispanics don't really count as people of color so you're shit out of luck unless you wanna pretend you're a tranny, I hear this trick works pretty well because there's no minimum bar and nobody can accuse of you of not being trans enough.

Those are the CEOs, they do it for making their company looks better. Most programmers and all the other people who do the actual work would rather have competent colleagues than diversity.
