No, Ducky, Steelseries, Razer, Corsair, etc. is not good. You are paying for the brand.

Switches have evolved from the standard red/brown/blue. Use the template and wait for anons to recommend better alternatives.

Imagine buying the same keyboard over and over again expecting something different.

Unironically the best Cherry switch and one of the best MX-style switches.

Cherry MX is a linear design and it shows. All attempts at introducing tactility or clickiness are afterthoughts.

Keyboard ricers belong in lebbit.
Just use a fucking normal ass 2 dollar keyboard.
But let me guess, you NEED more, right?

I bet this consoomer actually eats food instead of just drinking onions. Why would you need more?

post your $2 keyboard.

i have over 2500 keyboards and i still buy new ones

So what are the best options for optomechanical keyboards?

>windows button actually saying hallyu
>esc key having some random chopstick with a rice bowl like some generic asian shit that has no reference to hallyu
why is it always pasty white boys making shit like this, cringe as fuck.

i like the coloured text on blue keycaps, but the japanese shit is cringe af

This is what I use for work

Budget: $50-150
Location: SG
Preferred switch type: Been using MX Browns, but open to similar/superior
Layout: ANSI
Form factor: TKL/75%
Backlight: Preferably no
Wireless: Preferably no
Previous/current keyboards: Leopold FC750R

Been eyeing the Keychron K2 w/ Gateron browns, is it good as a wired keyboard? Can I just take out the battery?

Talk me out of a Tex Shinobi with hot-swappable green Cherry switches. I currently have a Logitech G710 (blue switches) and I keep fumbling for the non-existent trackpoint and don't like how light the keys are because I can't rest my hands there while thinking.

Finally got my first mechanical keyboard, an Akko ACR75 (CS Crystal Clears). Coming from a Legin 5 laptop keyboard, it's nice and smooth though a bit too sensitive. Keycaps are nice. Also did the tape mod and considered removing the bottom EVA foam for more flex, but IDK I figured I liked it more when it was dampened as fug.
Only thing I don't like about it is the spacebar which has a metallic ping to it and that it's a touch wobbly.

that's korean

japanese ones are even worse, the redditors who design them think they're being respectful but those keycaps are anything but, they're offensive to the eyes.

Also here's the vocaroo recorded with a Galaxy S22. 2 layers of cloth tape and everything else is stock.
