For the longest time, i've played a game on this site, pretending to be something i'm not. Sometimes i'd post globohomo content, sometimes i'd post far-right content, and everything in between. I would reply to my own threads, pretending to be my own enemy, just to start a conflict, in an attempt to radicalize whoever decided to get involved.
I've played both sides like a fiddle, and I feel guilty for contributing to our radical political division. For example, I would create a "u mad white boi" thread, and then respond to it, pretending to be a nazi. Equally, i'd post nazi threads and pretend to be some antifa faggot. My threads usually draw a lot of attention, and i've been doing this for years.
I can't help but wonder, how many other people are also involved in this level of trolling? How many people are pretending to be their perceived political opposition, just to get a rise out of people? How many of these trap / bbc threads are actually posted by right wingers? and how many of these nazi threads are actually created by leftists?
I can't be the only one. Regardless, i'm done playing this game.

I've spent countless hours trying to radicalize my own side, as well as my enemy, by engaging in this sort of behavior. For the life of me, when I read into threads, i literally can't differentiate between who is being serious, and who is just another fake.
someday you'll be unhappy with some group or another you run into, probably to later realize that you actually instilled that mentality by hand many times over. poes law is a bitch
