Cor blimey, it's just a more expensive Acorn Electron, innit?

Kek

It was a pretty decent computer for its day; solidly built (a must for school use) and had a good range of expansion options. The BASIC was nice, lots of software (you could even add a slave CPU and run CP/M, MS-DOS, OS-9, etc.)
It was just too expensive to be widely used outside of education, which was a shame really. They made a cheaper version (the Electron) for home use, but I've never had the chance to use one for long enough to compare it to its contemporaries.
That reminds me I should probably see if mine still works and replace the RIFA cap before it blows...

That’s a fact!

Blimey crikey O'reilly, innit wally? Bloody good observation matey.

Didn't most microcomputers of the time support that?
