What makes life in the United States better than in the rest of the world?

What makes life in the United States better than in the rest of the world?

Aside from some half murdered liberties nothing.

Freedom

Nothing really, its no different than any other high HDI country.

I live in a massive house in a suburb in California and my only expenses are utilities and property tax

I KNOW my life is better than most of the world because I've actually travelled much of the world and met many wondwrful people. But man, I'm so glad I'm a (wealthy) American

*if you have the cash to back it up

>life in Switzerland or Norway is the same as America

Anyone that still believes that is willfully delusional.

lol. maybe if youre rich as fuck

Life here isn't always better. However it can be good.

I love being a gun enthusiast and living in a gun friendly state.

Fuck all unless you're rich, in which case the government values your interests heavily
This guy gets it

...it kinda is though...have you actually visited these places?

you must be joking

Poverty exists in Europe too...have you been to Ausria or Poland? Or hell even Italy? There are streets far worse than that over there

I mean, if you compare them to places like Connecticut or something, it is pretty damn similar.
I once had a friend from Finland visit me in Wisconsin and he spent the entire trip talking about how shocked he was that everything was pretty much exactly the same.

The belief in the propaganda that says life in the United States is better than the rest of the world.

You can buy a cheeseburger, a gun, and an iPhone all in the same day. You can also watch Netflix and shout about your favorite sportsball team, and why you love/hate the current presidential administration.

Connecticut has a higher HDI than Switzerland.

Can I buy a laptop, a tablet and get fast, cheap Internet in the same day?

Codified rights and effective checks and balances.

yes? why not?

This is obvious bait. But still. Nothing. Anyone who believes that it is has been cucked.

in Europe they don't actively try to make the poor poorer though
USA has the most cancerous politics in the world after maybe India

God, Americans don't suffer.

t. lives in a third world shithole. A prostitute was beheaded just a block from my home.

What does this even mean? You think social programs don't exist in America? What is welfare?

Just make sure you get Comcast Xfinity.
>this NOT a paid advertisement

yeah, US has worst politics except for all of central and south america, africa, mainland asia, and eastern europe.

when your politics are so shit that you have to rely 100% on charity associations and NGOs because you can't remotely live on welfare if you so much as get appendicitis lmao

I have refused senior level jobs in California and Texas. would literally rather live in China than go there.

Well, we just make sure "The rest of the world" is Maoist China, the USSR, and North Korea.

The constitution is above the politicians rather than below it. I'm in New Zealand. We have the bill of rights which is similar to the constitutions content but is just a normal law.

we got vaccine mandates, restrictions on people gathering and so on blatantly violating human rights and crossing the line into violating the nuremburg code with coercion and punishment for those that refuse a medical procedure.
The government seized peoples guns a couple years ago.
the government has been banning speech and sharing of information.
If i look at the evidence around the mass shooting in Christchurch (where i was living as it happened) and discuss what the shooter said I can be arrested.

Politicians must not be at the absolute top of power. Even Kings were subjects of God, presidents in the US are subjects of the constitution.

The US system is currently the least bad one that exists. If I was able I'd move there tomorrow.
