This is just apple being retards.
You need MacOS to compile iOS apps and use centralized xcode code revision.
this means that you have to host apple computers as servers somwhere in case you have a CI/CD flow.
But the MacOS EULA perhibits running MacOS on anything but Apple hardware, this means that you have to run their hardware.
But apple stopped manufacturing servers with the Xserver project in the early 2010.
Then they had a "server" version of their mac mini, but they stopped that as well.
Then they had the mac Mini with a DVD player that peopl bought and replaced the player with a hdd so they had redundancy. But they stopped that as well.
This has led to these retarded rack solutions.
The market for these squares for round holes is massive! I have found at least 10 different manufacturers of these stupid shelves.
Beside that there is MacStadium and Amazons mac cloud.
Apple on enterprise is a joke. trust me, i have worked with it.

Why would it be hosted on non redundant expensive proprietary hadrware with limited warranty and no expansion?
