A transgender man hung himself in the women's restroom at my work a week ago. He was just a receptionist (a shitty one at that) and nobody liked him.
Heres my problem: My boss made everyone fill out some stupid comment thing online for some memorial because of his crazy troon “girlfriend” who came in and did some ridiculous speech. I went on the site and made a genuine comment with my name since I had to, then I created a disposable email and proceeded to write something horrific for his “girl”friend to see. It was very violent and talked about how he was never a real woman, no ovaries, was bound to die by the rope, ect.
Theoretically if my work tried to trace the comment and found out it was me what legal trouble could I be facing? Every NPC from my work could read each others comments and they were talking about the ‘horrific’ page I wrote. One sheboon in the office mentioned it should be reported to the police. Apparently this comment caused the ‘girlfriend’ serious emotional distress.
Absolutely nothing will happen. You have a right to express your freedom of speech. The police wouldn’t even investigate something so petty. Don’t worry.
