It's like dark souls and Bloodborne had a fuck session and breath of the wild filmed it and fluffed dark souls balls. That being said I love all the from software souls games (not souls-likes, there's a difference) and also really liked BOTW from what I played of it, so I'm biased for sure.

How much Str and how much Dex? You could go for halberds, curved greatswords (I think there's one called the wolf fang that's really stronk), or whatever.
I'm going Strength + Faith and it's suffering, but I know I'll be ridiculously strong later.
I just found out you can change any Ash of War to have Normal, Keen, or Heavy scaling if get an item in Stormveil castle. (It's behind a swordkey door.) Now I'm running around with a Heavy Quickstep Zweihander and it's pretty sweet.
