>buys cheap product
>wonder why it's cheaply packed
lol what did OP mean by this?

it's flash memory in a plastic box
do you want your SD cards and USB drives in velvet lined boxes?

at least some effort like this

imagine imagining

>all that unnecessary packaging

you are comparing a 1tb NVme Samsung SSD to a budget (Kind of Kingston's thing) 240gb regular SSD
user are you fucking retarded

Blister packaging is way easier

it makes it look like a legitimate piece of equipment and not something you plan to use for a week and throw out

Would never buy a fucking SSD with a happy white boy on it

I bet you are the type of basedlnt that keeps the box as a display piece

nope i keep it incase i need to return the product

>think about the heckin unboxerino experience!!!!

>more expensive product
>packed better
Really?

>got cheapest 240gb SSD's 5 times
>Adata and Kingston
>they all work fine 2 years later
>will upgrade to 480gb or 1tb when one of them dies
I don't mind the packaging, I am not an Apple user.

Most SSDs are good.
A400 is indeed a time bomb though, its the Seagate rosewood of SSDs.

shhh im trying to bully Kingston into nicer packaging

NOOO YOU HAVE TO BUY SSDS ESPECIALLY 2.5" ONES THAT ARE PACKAGED ELEGANTLY YOU CAN'T BUY ONE LIKE THAT
>goes home and does this anyways

mount it what the fuck?

not my problem

I wonder if it has to do with just the number of drives existing
Seagate rosewood drives are just in fucking everything, I even had one in a dell inspiron which got replaced with an A400 because that is like the first cheap SSD that comes up on a search.

works just fine without mounting and will work for 10+ years :)
thank god it came in a nice box though phew

>Make the packaging only the size of the SSD
>Makes it much easier to steal
>Makes it much easier to get lost in transit
>Offers much less protection while in transit
>WE NEED TO BAN PLASTIC BECAUSE ALL OF THE AFRICAN BABIES WILL DIE AND THE PLANET WILL GET MORE HOTTERER!

Honestly I hate you dumb cunts like you would never be able to understand.

I atleast have the foresight to mount an SSD onto the side of a 5.25 bay

2010s era PC wiring looks like a firehazard in retrospect even if the only difference is braided cables

oh fuck yeah /hangingfromsata/ chads report in

you are not being the person mister rogers knew you could be

Mine is worse, mine is floating because the cable is thick or something

these aren't even my photos I stole them off google

it’s the only way. what kind of fags wastes resources on mounting screws for a 3oz piece of aluminum that will float on the power cable?

Deviants the lot of you are

DO NOT buy that SSD. Throttles down to 30MB/s after only a few GBs and you get this weird stuttering after it fills up. I ended up going back to my hard drive and noticed IMPROVEMENTS.

>easier to steal
kek
>lost in transit
So every small package has that issue, huh? Oh wait.
>protection
It's a fucking SSD. With a cardboard border around it. Packed in a box for transit.
>baww global warming is a myth
