Searx

Is this really the best there is?
>Is easily the least functional search engine.
>Also the only non-cucked search engine currently

Why hasn't someone made it work properly on mobile yet?

This, , Mojeek, and Whoogle are viable options.

SearX is a search engine aggregator software, it shows you where the results are from

It doesn't work properly on desktop either

good morning bravesirs.

unironically this, switched from tranniesgo and have never looked back since

searx is written in python, therefore I will never run it. Setup librex just now though. It's not as fully featured though.

Tried that, it's easier to get than to get rid of.
Reminds me of Adguard Content Blocker, residual artifacts (?) keep turning up long after I thought it was removed.
Searx works for me,

Can you elaborate? For all intents and purposes, it does the same things.

>elaborate
it searches google so you dont have to.

Oh thanks. I did not know searx used google.

That is not true. Searx is a meta search engine (like ddg). It doesn't have its own index but pools other search engines' results instead. The difference in searx is that it 1. Has way more features 2. Is actually open source and 3. Let's you choose which search engines to use (also in which context, see 1)

Just got back from reading about it, specifically searx vs searxng. Thanks for the info.

You can see which search engine provided the result on the right. In this case, results from Google and Mojeek are displayed.

You can change which search engines are being used in the settings of the instance. Different instances will have different search engines enabled by default.

This is the only decent searx instance

What about the faganfinder.com (not to confuse with faggotfinder.com)?
