Nah, never. First monitor was some 17" 1280x1024 LCD.

in my pants :DDD get it?

just got my hands on a 24k hour 20 inch diamondtron tube, feelsgoodman

yeah but its a shitty SVGA thing from like 1992. I had a nice one in the early 2000s but my mom threw it out. Now I can't find any good CRTs, thrift stores here don't even let you donate them, let alone sell them.

I own a 955df and a few c64 1702 from my childhood. 20 something years ago I had a few monitors doing the *pop* of death, a few generic ones and a nice 21" princeton, it scared the shit out of me. None of the crts I used were as sharp and as bright as a modern lcd but the motions tho, it's like watching real life behind a foggy window.

my crt flashed rampantly, turned it out i needed to dust it out with air duster
another thing the monitor is quite bland compared 2oo3 monitors, dark scenes will become too dark to see

What is it with Touhou fans and CRTs?

It's just one autist

Touhou the game sucks ass on anything but a CRT. Simple as.
It's a 60hz game that requires a lot of visual tracking and processing. That's much harder to do on modern displays, LCD or OLED, where everything is smeared from the sample&hold effect.

How easy is it to get the latest tech in Greenland?

I've seen these monitors on a desk with a white/grey keyboard on it before...

No, I don't have nostalgia for anything

other than prebuilts? no

Who needs a CRT when an IPS monitor can minimize motion blur to pic related already
>rtings.com/monitor/reviews/viewsonic/xg2431

>G815
>superlight
>yellowing CRT
yeah i'm thinking extremely based

>OLED
embarrassing cope
OLED literally has *too fast* response time / too little image retention to the point where it's detrimental. get a job

Why doesn't someone mod it to uncap the framerate?

It looks like the perfect budget "motion" monitor to pair with an older 4k60 or 1440p60 for web browsing and shit. There's also news about a 500hz QD TN, this will be dope on doom/quake source ports.

because then it becomes harder
not that it matters because I bet he never plays toehoe

i own a crt, but it's a television, not a monitor. i use it for playing ps2 games
would i ever get a crt monitor? probably not, i'm just fine with lcd
