There are going to be some post war negotiations once the battles cease and Ukraine will probably be forced to give some land (the parts with valuable resources on it) to Russia.

North Korea can barely shoot a rocket over Japan and has maybe a handful of nukes that may or may not be deployable. Russia has the largest nuclear arsenal on earth and could destroy the fucking moon if they wanted to. Not the same thing.
