What's the point of considering itself the "best" country in the world if their life style is terrible in every possible way?
Compare it with any country in the world and you'll see.

I've heard good cases for Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Portugal, Uruguay, Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, and even Ireland being the best countries, some I agree with, and some I don't.
I'm American, and it's really hard to justify calling the US the best. There are a few ways we shine, though even those are starting to decline.
One is culture. We still dominate the world, for better or worse, in entertainment. We have many of the best authors, film studios, musical artists, musical genres, scientists, etc. This is still what draws people here. However, I think it's worth taking into account the population of the US. Especially during the rock era, it always seemed like there were about equal notable bands coming out of the US and UK; consider the size and population difference between the two countries. That means your chance of being a successful artist in the UK is magnitudes higher than in the US.
Education is a mixed bag; the school system through secondary school is absolutely terrible, one of the worst in the developed world. However, we also have most of the best universities on the planet. The caveat is, higher ed is big business here, so while we have most of the best universities, we also just have an absurd number of colleges, most of which are so unimportant that going there is practically a scam.
Government services are terrible here. Bad on worker's rights and pay, expensive healthcare, etc.
Food here is famously terrible, though it's getting better. In cosmopolitan areas, it can actually be very good because it's such an international country that you have lots of options.
The cities here are designed terribly. In half of them, you have to drive to get anywhere, and they aren't designed for community gatherings.

Pro-tip: the best thing to do is come from a developed country, whether it be the US or Norway, and then move to a cheap, beautiful country. Most of these "best countries" aren't actually that nice to live in. Move to some beautiful coastal town, whether it be in Greece, Sri Lanka, or wherever. Work for wages from back home. Live super cheaply, make way more money than you need, and enjoy the nice community (local or expat). That's the life, trust me.
America is a 4 out of 10... if ur rich
the best in the world

>equal notable bands coming out of the US and UK;
Only for a particular genre, a genre that came from America and appropriated by anglos.
>Food here is famously terrible,
What? Where the fuck do you live? You're a yank, I'm assuming. But Southern food has been a thing for centuries.

I win, like always.
USA has 50 million immigrants running away from socialist countries standing in line trying to become citizens right now, that's more than every other country in the world. That's just the ones trying to come in legally. That's not even the refugees.
The way of life there is so awful that they have an immigration problem because so many people are trying to get in.
I just don't get why not a single person wants to live in the country of USA. It just makes no sense.
Their immigration line filled with people trying to get away from socialist countries is larger than the population of most countries.
Only retards think American living is bad. I'll be moving there soon hopefully. The free healthcare here just ain't worth it.
