Shots fired

Just installed Fedora 36 and realized it has filepicker thumbnails. Will chuds ever recover from this?

Well, better than nothing. It works for me.

You have to admit KDE looks like vomit though

>You have to admit KDE looks like vomit though
They don't know what good design looks like.
Don't even fucking try, KDE plasma looks better than the first few versions but it ain't good.

So is this actually new or i'm being retarded? I don't remember having GNOME thumbnails in the filepicker AT ALL. Right?

>Don't even fucking try, KDE plasma looks better than the first few versions but it ain't good.

I tried many times to get used to it, even with nice themes it looks and feels like shit and vomit. Also literally crashes. Also you can't turn off the compositor at startup when using wayland. KDE should not be allowed to exist.

That's not a thumbnail, it's a preview...

firefox implemented its own a long time ago, it's not available to other gtk applications though

imagine being such an eyelet.

You poor fool lol

Never had a crash with kde. But had plenty with gnome.
i had plenty of smaller bugs on kde though. But at least unlike gnome it's usable and not designed by egotestical trannies who think they know better what makes a good DE than their users.

You don't even know what filepicker thumbnails actually are...

Of course it's a germ

Thumbnails are the ones that are on every file. What you are seeing is a file preview after selecting it. That one has been there pretty much always but it's painfully slow to click each file to see them when KDE has them all in a big grid.

Never crashes on my computer.
Lets face it. You either use a shit computer or you have never used it and you follow the Any Forumstard diatribe.

KDE is good though, fuck GNOME

>Also you can't turn off the compositor at startup when using wayland.
Isn't that an inherent Wayland problem because it forces v-sync from the compositor?

this is the firefox one, now check the new GTK4 file fucker, you can't select multiple files, you can't even see a preview of the file

1. KDE rarely crashes
2. Function > looks
3. Learn to customize. KDE looks like what you want it to look like

Fags like you need the abortions.

Not based if you don't have the button to toggle the history sidebar
