Hypothetically: putting nuclear action aside, how fast do you think USA could end the Ukraine invasion? Going balls deep, Seals, Rangers, drones ect. A week? A few days?
Hypothetically: putting nuclear action aside, how fast do you think USA could end the Ukraine invasion...
I'm not a military expert at all. But from my limited research, the US air force could basically neutralize the Russian assault by itself.
Now, that could probably keep Ukraine safe. Actually taking over Russian territory? Thats a different story...
Your question has a completely retarded number of unaddressed variables, too many for any kind of logical hypothesis. Jerk off on the stars and stripes somewhere else.
They would accomplish precious little. You think Russia lack SpecOPs and counter terror? Or that they're less trained than the US equivalent? lol
>my limited research
Finishing the MW2 campaign doesn't count user
well shit then idk
We have the two largest air forces in the world and the largest drone fleet. American feet would never touch down. We'd roast Ivan from 5,000 feet.
I doubt they would be successful. The current military brass would have their hands so tied that the losses would end up being staggering.
If they'd done it day one, while Russia was fucking up and getting their teeth rattled by Ukrainian response? Twenty-four hours before Putin backed off, or WW3 started.
Now with victory in sight for Russia and the Russian miliary entrenched? Probably a lot more likely we all die before resolution is reached.
what? There'd be limited troop involvement its much more likely these happen
HA! Russian forces would be stuck between 20 million pissed of Ukrainians and American forces. It'd be laughably short.
Are you fucking high? Russia can't get a foothold. Keep drinking that pulonium tea, maybe one day you'll be real Russian spy.
We spend more than dubbly the amount of money on our military, so YES!
USA would get wiped in an instant if it wasn't fighting dirty goat fuckers with low tech weapons.
Seeing how "well" they did in Afghanistan I'd say not even 1 year will be enough. US doesn't fare well when they cannot control the initiative. This is why Afghanistan was lost. Think about it - US lost to a bunch of goat fuckers who employed superior 72 virgins philosophy. If this is not enough for amerimutts to understand that superior equipment does not always ensure victory then I don't know what is.
I can also 100% guarantee you if US went in then Putin would deploy low yield tactical nukes. The end result = no winner. And we are back again at the fact that US always underestimate their opponent and scorched earth policy is not something you understand well at all.
are you forgetting that Russia also got fucked up in afganistan?
Much of that spending is wasted on worthless projects like the f22 and 35, thrown at "allies" in NATO to subsidize their defense spending, or straight up wasted on surpluses of ammunition (we're talking individual battalions being ordered to shoot 20k rounds a person for range day because the army just ordered too much ammo and can't send it back) and $5,000 chairs.
That's so wrong, it's laughable. The US secured it's goal of disrupting Al Qaida almost within 72 hours. Bush and Cheney kept us in there indefinitely to hide what they were doing in Iraq. Winning was never a goal, distraction always was.
because the US armed and trained them, then the US got buttfucked and lost hundreds of thousands of troops fighting a lone band of afghans
Special operations won't make a a dent in a full-scale war. They're humans, people! like you and me; exceptionally well trained and disciplined, but just a handful of people at the end of the day.
The training RU and US troops go through to hold that rank is insane, and there is no better than the other there. They're another breed and found their home.
The F16 was introduced in 1974, it didn't go into service until the 80s. The F22 and the F35 are bleeding edge planes. There's a reason why they've taken so long to get to fleet. But now they're out there and nothing can touch them. Keep seething Ivan.
imagine comparing middle eastern operations to an actual declared war with russia. youre so stupid its astonishing that you were able to muster the words in this dogshit statement.
>lost hundreds of thousands of troops
The US had 2400 casualties over 20 years. At least you admitted you have no idea wtf youre talking about
Fucking retard. We launder half of that money. You literally cannot spend the amount of money that we have on military equipment, the supply does not meet the demand at all.
No Russian
USA couldn’t even defeat a bunch of Muslim fuckers in the Middle East. What makes you think they can take down the Russian army?
I'd say about 35 minutes with just our Air Force alone.
