I used it as a throw-away site but they changed the sign-up process so I just made a proper account and use it for all sorts of trash. Pretty good. Never had any issues with it.

Their custom "encryption" is just an excuse for vendor lock-in. All of the above also applies to other "private" email providers such as ProtonMail.
Either use MXRoute/Migadu or just self-host.
