call me autistic if you want. I like my stuff to be set up a certain way, I know what I want and what I dont want. If there's something I don't use/need I don't want it there.
This extends beyond programs to base system utilities. There are base system utilities that I prefer to use over others, like PipeWire over Pulse, OpenRC over systemd, I like chrony for ntp, cronie for cronjobs and so on.
I want SDDM as my display manager, plasma as my desktop but without all the bloat it comes with in meta packages.

I want to architect my system myself so it uses only the utilities and programs that I want. I don't want to fight something to be able to set up my machine with the utilities that I prefer, so I wouldn't use something like Mint or Ubuntu. No shade to anyone that does tho.
