yeah as a huge fan of the original the biggest issue is leatherface- seeing him in a party bus with neon lights and everyone on cameraphones.. pretty much summed up the entire mood of the movie- awkward and out of place..

Leatherface was not an invincible killer like Jason or Mike Meyers. He was a retard pushed by his psychotic family to kill. This movie fucked that up. Sally surviving just enough to shoot him was ridiculously stupid. The woke shit sucked as it always does. The electric car was gay as fuck. But the gore was alright. The beheading at the end was cool.

the cast, besides the toxic masculinity white male, were highly obnoxious. i thought this was woke garbage, but then i got the idea they were playing both sides. having a diverse cast, but at the same time WANTING you to hate these annoying liberal cunts. especially the scene with the "you're canceled bro" scene. which will age horribly.

big problem was the set up. they're moving to the middle of nowhere to set up a restaurant? ok... that's dumb. really stupid premise. they didn't actually have the deed to the house, but the cops seemed to be under the impression they weren't supposed to be there, without the libtards saying anything. made no sense.
