wait a minute.. i know FAGMAN is how we can it but how is it normielly called? i don't want to fuck up socially
"Big Tech", which is way less autistic than "FAGMAN"
digital ocean
FAANG
Microsoft wasn't included in the original acronym, and the actual companies listed has lost meaning. FAANG now basically just means big, high-paying companies.
use DO, or maybe linode.
none of those are cheap. AWS LightSail is fairly cheap but yeah. I think OVH might be cheaper but they're trash and don't really regulate their network so if you need to access anything via VPN or something on your VPS expect your IP to be blocked.
honestly, I recently got a bare metal server from that one German company for like $35-40 a month and it's well worth it since it has unlimited bandwidth, I can have a guy in Finland go and plug a KVM in and put my own OS on and I can have as many VMs as the hardware supports.
but yeah, DigitalOcean or LightSail gets my recommendation out of the big VPS providers. I think Vultr is alright too
>linode
Can confirm
>vps
Anyone you feel like paying. Find some literally who old school self host platform for 5 bucks a month.
Depends on what you're gonna use it for, check out lowendtalk for some offers and stuff
both google and oracle have perpetually free VM options, so those two are the cheapest.
ive had a good time using digital ocean
Excuse me, but it's MA'AAM

Alphabet
Amazon

What's a facebook?
A miserable little pile of fake friends.
check out lowendbox, I'm using buyvm to host a porn site with 11k daily visitors and 5m daily requests, while running H@H on it. Though I'm using cuckflare to reduce the bandwidth usage (around 1tb daily, but the real usage is just 120gb~ thanks to cuckflare).
That's really cool, do you monetize it?
Should Netflix and Facebook still be in this list?
>Red Hat
Used DigitalOcean to run my TF2 server, worked great, was super cheap too
Got a bunch of traffic running through it and it only cost $10 or so after a few months
I use namecheap, but DO and linode are great
On the low end, vultr is 2.50/mo. Can anyone beat that?
Well, looks like this is the answer:

Anyone have experience with one of these providers?
