i'd say culture has changed very, very little in the last hundred years. In the last decade, we've seen increasing popularisation of the internet and ubiquitous smartphone usage amongst the youth. It seems to have demonstrably changed attention spans, and the way in which people undergo factual recall, but I can't comment on whether that's negative.

Everyone is jaded and angry, in each others business, everything is a moral high ground facade. internet is no longer a place to relax but a cesspool that bleeds into the real world and back into the internet. people can’t be themselves anymore because everything is examined under a microscope even if you said or did something now decades ago. everyone is racist or a bigot or ignorant now. everyone is more narcissistic than before. list goes on and on.

Every generation reacts to their own environment their own way. It's neutral for me. Humanity is bound to be doomed anyway so be it.

Sounds like you're using the internet in such a way that continues the cycle. It's pretty easy to ignore all of that and engage in positive interactions. Please keep in mind though, you're mostly describing your experiences. i.e. presumably in the early 00s, you had a good time on the internet, but now you find that you can't do what you like without it having IRL consequences or something. The idea that society has become more racist, bigoted or ignorant, and that people are more narcissistic, is quite the claim. For example, the 2010s saw gay marriage legalised in various countries, saw pay discrimination according to protected characteristics codified, and saw companies releasing EDI statements and making hires specifically to seem less racist / bigoted.

The vast majority is superficial, prone to falling into cult-like behavior, hectic pace in everything whether warranted or not, rapidly failing ability to genuinely connect with others instead of putting up that disgusting glaringly obvious mask with a plastic smile, incredible short-sightedness in everything.
