A funny side note is that strangers seemed to treat me differently when I was younger, depending if I had a beard or not.
I like to experiment with social situations. Sometimes I would let my beard grow. Sometimes I was just shaved but otherwise neutral. Other times I would get some make up (foundation, shading ect) to mess around with how my facial features looked. ( you wouldn't know I had make up, it was very subtle, I would just enhance or decrease how the light looked on my face.) And its funny how differently you get treated at different places. Service personnel treat you differently and so on.
