They brought in celebrity doctors motivated by racial justice to expound upon these crazy half-baked theories for the court. Like one doctor's theory was that George Floyd's chest was so compressed, that his lungs actually couldn't draw in air. It goes without saying that this doctor never examined the body, he was a celebrity eyewitness brought in by the prosecution. This insane theory, with no evidence, was allowed to be presented before the jury.
Floyd swallowed his drugs when he saw the police coming. He also did this in his 2019 arrest. That is why he died. He was complaining about not being able to breathe, even before he was brought to the ground.
In reality, the maneuver he is performing is commonly used in policing. It's even taught in police manuals.

On one of his first patrols, him and his partner were called to a house by an anxious mother. She approached the police vehicle, and started telling the officer her trouble. The somalian then pulled out his gun, and shot her dead. Shooting across the chest of his parner who was sitting int he driver's seat. Nobody can figure out why he did this, it's an inexplicable act with no explanation.
