tbh i lived in one of germans richest cities and also in eastern german rural area. and i enjoy living in rural area more than in the rich city, simply because more nature, better air, less stress, lower cost of living, less noise. i can literally go for a walk and see deers, goats, chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goose, swans etc. etc.
while in the rich city there were 0 animals and all "nature" was basically touched and regulated with paths and stuff.

I have lived in CA for almost 40 years and it has rapidly declined. It used to be full of church going trash pick upping hard working money saving help your neighbor logical people. Now young kids are basically 2nd world's and Mexicans Park cars on the lawn trash is blowing around. No one has a backbone And the ones who did moved. There is still a lot of good in CA but it is deeply tainted. Just went for a bike ride all through this very nice town and most of the trail especially near the college was homeless encampments and rape waiting to happen. All the civilized folks stay on the northwest side of town or central downtown when it comes to activity and shopping. Trashy people have overrun the outlet and restaurants/movie areas. White flight has been happening but its fucking stupid when you leave a perfect climate and good economy unless there's a cycle I haven't picked up on yet. Anyway I have to go to an old folks home or black bear diner if I want happy smiling service. Workers at one McDonald's are racist against whites.
