How do we build a sustainable long term communist society?

Communism is actually bad.

Capitalism is actually bad.

As good as it sounds

People are naturally greedy, and so communism may never truly function (ussr and eastern europe and all other minor communist countries) unless in a rich and an authoritarian state (maybe america or an independent communist germany/france) which slowly devolves to capitalism as it becomes rich (china)

You do so gradually over many centuries, probably solidifying around the time where the planet has become inhospitable to the point where the species either has to leave or be annihilated.

Communists are as greedy as capitalists, just as Silvio pointed out

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
/thread

Capitalism does not occur naturally in nature, most native societies are actually hunter - gatheres societies which mostly resembles socialism. Also if communism is bound to fail why is there such a big American urgency to intervene and bring it down, why not just let it fail. Look at the cold war for example, or how Vietnam was handled or even that guy in Africa that was killed by the CIA, or even Cuba. You should really pick up some books.

Communism won't work because humans are ingrained with the idea of earning your resources (money/ food/ shelter etc) by contributing work, and that the amount you earn should be equal to the amount of work you contribute.

A system where everyone has equal access to resources regardless of contribution to create those resources naturally leads to resentment between those who work and those who don't.

I think a socialist approach that blends communism and capitalism would work best. The basic needs of everyone (food, shelter) can be met with shared resources for all even if they don't contribute anything, but people who want to work can earn more for themselves. This approach ensures everyone has the ability to live comfortably and have access to the same opportunities, while still rewarding those who choose to put in more effort to earn more for themselves. This way even people who have disabilities or are elderly have the opportunity to contribute and earn more for themselves, even if its not as much as a young able-bodied person, because they don't have to spend all their effort securing their basic needs.

We are close to getting there in western society, but we still need to shed the mindset of "people who don't contribute deserve to get nothing and die". It's a short-sighted ideology that prohibits long term growth.

Because it always leads to millions of lives lost and suffering. Dumb fuck

how is that any different to capitalism?

you don't.

because communism doesn't work after a while.

HMMMMM the score here looks pretty even, let's decide a winner based on which country was starving while making its rockets.

Honestly, based user

Maybe you should write a book about thid topic

Automate everything so nobody has to work and money becomes meaningless.

How can people who don't contribute give any sort of meaningful growth?

Does the guy leading in the middle win the race?
No, it's the one that reaches the end first.

Two side of the same Jewish coin

Define meaningful growth.

>sustainable
>long term
>communist
You only get to pick one

more people die each year in the US to opioid overdoses than ever starved in the USSR.

this

>repeat soviet shitty achievements after one month or year
>achievements like "first small nigger in space" "first tall nigger in space"
>soviets still can't repeat your moon landing

someone should edit that:
>Who is still around? US flag lol

>hunter - gatheres societies
Small villages where no one has anything of much worth is the only scale that socialism has ever worked on. As soon as you get agriculture and cities, you get stratification of social class and unequal distribution of wealth.
Dumbass

This, but it would've been fun if they extended the finish line towards actually colonising the moon

Lmao Russia no longer a communist country. Are you still living in 1900s or what? OP you sounds like Chinese retard

> How do we build a sustainable long term communist society?

Easy. Same way the existing Communist countries do it. Kill all people who are against communism (or put them in work camps until they die). Force the community to spy and bully their fellow citizens so everyone is too scared to do or speak in a way that goes against the government. Keep teaching children that all people are the government, and that the ruling body is a committee of the best of their peers, but they can never see them, question them, or even sneer them lest you want to be lion food. Ensure that all citizens of the country are the lowest class by default. All foreigners are automatically royalty because they come from capitalist countries so they have money and you, the citizen, have nothing to offer except begging for an extra ration of bread. If a cow dies, you must give it up even if you are starving or you will be killed. All police must live outside of the towns and cities they patrol so they have no sympathy for the people they beat up.

This is the only way it has ever worked because ultimately communism is an excuse to keep the population powerless while those who seized on a complacent and desperate people gain the riches of the free product and services the people produce for their tiny handouts. Then classes of people are automatically created and you are born into the class. Theoretical communism wants all people to be the same class, but this is impossible when a committee exerts control of all things and does not want to give away all this wealth equally. They always use the excuse of rationing for bad times, but they are using it for their own green and gain, giving the bigger portion of rations to their "most loyal and pure classes" or "capital classes".

So yes, this question you ask has an obvious answer.

>people who are starving don't have time or resources to overdose on drugs
Wow next you're going to tell me how much lower obesity was in the ussr

"the moon is the finish line because we got there first. don't look beyond the moon there is nothing to see there"

But Usa really is the winner. It hasn't collapsed because of it's endless stulidity unlike sovietshits

>the moon is the finish line
Yes.

OP absolutely BTFO.
Communism completely destroyed.

did you mean Chinashit?

>You should really pick up some books.
Back atcha, you ignorant fucking retard.

The only reason the US has not collapsed is because they keep invading other counties and stealing their resources.

a lot of people in Russia still want's "free" government's boot in their asses. Half of them are old dying trash that remembers small gravity, tasty food and working penis in their youth, another half is zoomers that watch propaganda videos on youtube about small gravity in the USSR and working penises of happy people. It's all is possible because officially Russian government hide USSR history and don't teach it in schools normally

When a goal is set the first person to.meet that goal is the winner. It doesnt matter how many achievements others make. This is a simple concept. This meme was made by an idiot.

>endless stulidity
Dear Chinaman, please learn some English :)

Turns out you can spend a lot on things like space programs when you're literally taxing people 100% of their income.
Go figure.

You have to think long term.

Just by existing a person consumes stuff, even if it's basic necessities. That additional consumption increases demand which spurs increased production of other people to fill that need. That's one way to look at contributing to overall growth.

They can also have children which can become productive workers in the future, which is a huge part of long term growth.

And there are also a lot of things that do contribute to society that are actually just overlooked because they don't have immediate benefits. Such as creating art. Sure it doesn't actually do anything, but having a nicely decorated environment that is pleasing to exist in makes other people feel better and increases their overall productivity.

Even just being a friendly person can have an indirect contribution to society. Like an old person who is not able to work, but they are able to provide friendship to their grandchildren or simply watch the kids while the parents work.

All of that is long term growth that ensures a society will be prosperous in the future. It's just as important as short term profits but it gets overlooked by most people who are more concerned about immediate or short term gains. Like growing a garden as opposed to eating a salad. If you are hungry now, your focus is on getting that salad. But don't forget that you will be hungry again in the future, so it's important to put in the work growing the garden as well.

do you have proof that such a big amount of money that allow US people have a good life was stolen somewhere in shitty terrorist countries like Irak, Japan in 1940s, Afganistan?

Soviets were first to mars.
USA were first to leave our Solar System.

>working people should support any number of irresponsible lazy fucks
LOL, get fucked.
If I'm going to make the effort and work for a living, I don't want hordes of slackers, fatties and heroin addicts picking my pockets, thanks.

"We" don't do anything bitch, there is no "we" involving you and me. You want contribution to society, you can fucking pay me.
There are people paid to do this, and create jobs in efforts to change something. They're actually paid pretty well, so if they are not capable of doing their jobs, they can be fired and replaced with someone who ideally can.
