I just finished binge watching season 2 of true detective. At first, the criminal aspects of the series was so over the top that it made it fairly easy for me to draw a figurative line between the fiction going on in the plot and the actual scums that are running rampant in the real world. As the years go by, now it's 2022, I'm not so sure I'm able to create a distinction in my head about fiction and reality. Am I crazy or this world is really a true detective season 2, 2.0...?
