12ga throws out 9 times what that thing shoots with every pull. Either that or one very large angry boi that will vibe check anyone regardless of plates worn. Now that’s a mans gun.

You know any men?

>one very large angry boi that will vibe check anyone regardless of plates worn
It will "vibe check" their plates by being completely harmless, failing to penetrate, and transferring the exact same amount of force as the shooter takes in recoil-not very much-over a much larger surface area of the entire plate.

Friend, is all of your gun knowledge from a video game you played 10 years ago?

Also I have pic related

Oof evem the desert eagle are much better in terms of weight, functionality, recoil, dual wielding and customization.. go back to the wild, old fag

But revolver tho

I already have two. My penis is also adequately sized to pleasure any woman except maybe Oprah and Serena Williams. I can live with that. It’s not about the gun it’s about what you do with it.

I adore revolvers and my Ruger Vaquero in .45 Long Colt is one of my favorite guns. Still, as much as I wish I could rationalize making it my CC, it's just not practical. These are great guns for bear defense, but too much for self-defense against humans. Too much risk of overpenetration and, under stress, you're far likelier to have poor aim with a magnum revolver. Besides that, if you're firing a .357 without ear protection, you might as well kiss your hearing goodbye.
9mm, 10mm, 40S&W, .45acp, .38spl, and even .380 are more practical options for a variety of reasons. I wish it was otherwise and if you think it's worth the inherent impracticalities of .357, .44mag, .45LC, and .50AE to be able to play "Cowboy", go for it; not even condescending, because large frame revolvers are sexy and intimidating and a joy to fire. If you're dead set on it, though, just make sure that you practice your draw and ACTUALLY get out to shoot, regularly. If you can pull, aim, and fire before the other guy can, it doesn't really matter what you're carrying.

What about shotshell revolvers, do you think they would kill your ears too?

Honestly, I've never fired a shotshell revolver, so I wouldn't want to comment on that.

Just wondering because I want to get one soon. If it will kill my hearing with no protection I'll get something else.

Probably depends on the barrel length. A buddy of mine is into these snub nosed revolvers in 357. Seems like a lot of powder will just go to waste and make a big flash

Go with a longer barrel like six inch...should give you more muzzle velocity, less flash, less recoil, and less noise.

you meant to post this

I'm not allowed to buy a gun because the state rightfully knows I would most likely just immediately execute myself in the parking lot immediately after buying it. Especially tonight.

That's sure a lot of useless and inaccurate information.

Care to elaborate?

No I think this will do

The information is unusable in it's current form and is not generally accurate.

He means that's not how it works in videogames so now he's upset.

First handgun I bought was a .357 with a two inch 'ported' barrel. One of the dumbest first handguns you could buy. The ammo is more expensive than comparable carry ammo, because of the short barrel you get significantly lower velocity than what the rounds will have on the box (they're usually measured with a six inch barrel), the ports on the barrel do almost nothing, the sights on a snubnose may as well not exist (they're more point-and-shoot and not really designed for accurate aiming), and you have to buy special ammo with an RTX style tip to force the hollow point expansion because snubnose revolvers dont get rounds to expansion threshold. I could go on and on.
