I kinda feel bad for them. I imagine it's like body image problems but 100x worse. I am genuinely bothered by society's response though; it's not bigoted to say you don't actively feel attracted to people who have raging hormonal imbalances, severe self image or personality issues, and possibly a surgically constructed monstrosity between their thighs. It doesn't mean you want them to commit suicide or be killed. It's no different than saying that redheads or blondes aren't your "type".
It's also a sick parody of the idea of self-image. Surgery and hormones are marketed as a cure to what's basically a psychological problem nobody wants to talk about.

Trannies are inherently disgusting, especially MtF. It invokes a deep seated feeling of genuine revulsion in men, on many layers. Not to mention, most trannies are just frankly hideous. Literally neckbeards wishing to get axewounded.

Not being attracted to something so vile, and unnatural is literally the definition of normalcy. It's not bigots, it's everyone except the deviant.

It's even taboo to point out how fadlike it is. I remember when trannies were some rare phenomenon that you'd probably never encounter unless you went to Thailand. It's not like gays - even before people talked much about them they were an open secret. Nowadays people with various gender identity issues seem almost as common as gays were when I was in high school (early and mid 2010s)

I sincerely believe the underlying cause of dysphoria isn't in an of itself bad or unnatural. The concept that a certain man or women could have traits more commonly suited for the opposite sex is a necessary part of the human species. Exceptions to society's rules should be embraced as they may come in handy one day.

Sure, insecurity probably plays a roll in i, but I think mental illness plays a bigger part in it.
