Dig deep hole. Bury body. Fill hole half way. Now, place dead animal (large dog, horse, whatever) in the remaining hole. If cops sus out the grave, when they dig down all they will find is an animal carcass.

With cops having the ability to tell if ground was disturbed, and finding human bodies under animal carcasses with dogs, the surefire way is still the oldest:
1. Go to graveyard. Pay respects until you see an open grave for upcoming use.
2. Dig deeper.
3. Bury body
4. Level "empty" grave to original height
5. Go play some vidya for a few days
6. Drive by sealed grave[s] and never look at it until you forget what happened.
The Rolling Hills graveyard in Richmond California is so full of extra bodies it has a funny smell to it.

My ex girlfriend went to college for CJ and Forensic Science. It's easier than you think to kite the Feds. If I were to, hypothetically, dispose of a body, this is how I'd do it.

>remove the meat/skin with boiling water in a pressure cooker
>remove all teeth from the skull

>get a mortar and pestle to crush everything to fine dust
>if the victim has tattoos, skin them and burn the skin
>find a neighborhood dog/cat
>go to the wilderness with the bits you can't easily get rid of yourself (excluding bones obviously)
>dig a 12ft hole
>put remains in
>at the 6ft mark put in the stray dog/cat
>make sure to wear shoes of the opposite sex that are a couple sizes too small/large
>change the tires on your car
