Mix a cup of bleach and a cup of ammonia in a bucket. Mix until it starts to smell similar to cinnamon (take a good whiff every 5-10 seconds until you smell the cinnamon smell).
Pour in sink, let sit for 10 minutes. Drain and lightly scrub. Voila, you got yourself a clean sink.

Steel wool or a green ScotchBrite pad. Or get the purpleish colored one for even more scrubbing. It will scratch the shit out of everything so only use it on a stainless steel sink. Dish soap or sink cleaner and it will be good to go. If not, you're doing something wrong. Plug the sink and fill it with soap and water for a few hours if there's a lot of stuck on shit.
