Anons I've been away for years. Please help me catch up with current limitations of OPSEC.
Quoting from archive.4plebs.org
> Why we collect
We collect information to ease moderation, administration and troubleshooting tasks.
> Do we share what we collect
We do not intentionally share collected data with anyone.
Anons, I'll translate this for you:
> We collect everything, no exceptions.
> We absolutely do share every bit with precisely > the entities you'd suspect.
Anons wtf has happened?
A major feature of Any Forums is the fast pacing and the fact old threads are deleted quickly.
This enables us to speak more openly. The fast turnover may provide some mitigation against slow, bureaucratic adversarial actors.
The attack surface is now vastly expanded if an 'archive' is centrally collecting everything ever posted.
Anons, has this been discussed ?
quoting from archive.plebs.org:
"What third parties collect"
> Cloudflare collects some information. [...]
> Google collects some information. [...]
> Google Analyticsis used for analytics. [...]
Anons, are you fucking kidding me? Don't you think this is odd?
A third party is collecting, processing and permanently archiving certain boards?
Who runs these 'archives' and under which legal jurisdiction?
Who administrates archive.4plebs.org ?
Are there other 'archives' for the remaining boards like Any Forums?
Can you opt out? We can't?
