I know Any Forums has traditionally been a space in which all kinds of posting is allowed, aside from certain obviously illegal stuff, and I'm okay with that. I'm even fine with posting gore, even if I don't like it. As long as you're not making it.
But the one thing I think is more dangerous and disgusting than anything, is posting women getting abused. Like, I don't like racism, transphobia or homophobia, but who the fuck gets kicks out of seing women being beaten, raped or killed?
Again, in spirit of Any Forums, I aknowledge that this is a space in which anything legal is allowed in, so I'm not saying it should be banned from here. But I am genuinely curious as to why someone feels like posting women getting raped is in any way, shape or form acceptable or desirable? Why would you post that? And those of you that don't are you honestly saying you don't feel disgusted seeing it?
I saw a vid of a woman being beaten and abused and it made me sick to my stomach. There's worse, of course, I've seen one in which a woman was shot in the head. It haunted me. Like, I legit got nightmares about it.
Why do you guys post that shit? And yeah, I think this way about the other stuff, too, but why are you so fucking horrid towards women especially? I refuse to believe so many of you are just unironically misogynistic. It's not just morbid curiosity when it's disproportionately aimed at women.

The real answer you won't find here is that the anons who post the stuff you're talking about, are mentally ill and have always had poor relationships with women in their lives, whether that be their mothers, siblings, or potential partners.
