Ask a male CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) anything.

Been in the field for five years. I've seen, done, and cleaned a lot of shit. I've floated between skilled nursing and assisted living/low level care. I have stories galore both involving my patients and the staff I work with. Every day is something new in this field. The things you might see can change a person's mind about working in healthcare, but quite frankly, I enjoy it. AMA

Will bump with quality R34 in the meantime.

I was barely old enough to remember watching inspector gadget growing up. Penny could've gotten some go-go-gadget dick though.

The best part about being a male CNA is the amount of thirsty women in healthcare craving cock. Women love a caring man who know how to take care of people.

Have you accepted the clotshot into your life?

The dubs keep coming!

Admittedly yes, but it was either that or basically be a pariah unless you accepted it. I got sicker from the side effects of the vaccine than I did from actual COVID though. That was enough for me to say no to any boosters in the future.

Plus I'm a Diabetic. I haven't got much to look forward to in the far future. Clots gonna clot me, hopefully before I go blind or get anything amputated.

Some of these old folks stay depressed about not being able to walk or remember shit. I'm standing there changing their diapers like "Well at least you made it to 80. I'd be lucky to make it to 50 without any serious health complications."

Still hasn't stopped me from enjoying my rapidly disappearing youth and banging my coworkers on the job though.

I will say the job is very rewarding. Many patients are appreciative of your help. Others can't accept the fact they're nearing death or not how they used to be, and end up being major assholes as a result. Usually they're the ones whose call lights get answered last.

That's why it pays to be kind to folks helping you. Even my more "difficult" patients that are kind and appreciative will get priority over that dickhead who just wants water.

Why haven't you become a nurse?

how many people have you killed?

I help take care of my grandmother at home how do you not get mentally exhausted from taking care of the elderly

Plus the nice residents tell their family about you, which in turn leaves a good impression for the building. Then you become part of the reason their family pays for a pizza dinner for your whole team. Not to mention the ones who slip you tips and stuff. Just gotta be quiet about that and it's as if it never happened :)

I plan to pursue my LPN/RN in the next couple of years. I have some issues outside of work that make saving for schooling an issue, but the goal is set in my mind and I'm working on it.

It can be tiring and I do get burnt out, but working in nursing/assisted living homes can provide variety. I sometimes go fuck around in other departments under the pretense of "lending a hand where needed" to prevent that.

Directly that I know of? None. That goes against the whole "caregiving" ideal. But your residents do pass, often times unexpectedly. You always wonder if you could've done more on your part to prevent that from happening so soon.

As someone who works in ems, why are your coworkers retarded?

location? is pay ok-ish nowadays with memevirus? how many of your coworkers are ex-cons?

mom wants me to stop being a useless NEET and suggested this but I was making $15/hr at my last job and thats about how much they made here last I worked in a convalescent home in 2019 here in Bay Area

Often times I'm usually the only male CNA/caregiver on shift. The field is ripe for women craving a man that shows them attention. I've had encounters with all sorts of chicks while being a CNA. Banged several of my nurses, multiple kitchen staff and housekeepers, and of course, my fellow CNA coworkers.

It's seriously one of the most sexually deprived fields for women. Dunno if it's just stress or what. All you need is to be charming, show you're energetic, and have a bit of game.

I dunno. I try to help y'all, but usually we are directed to just make the patient presentable before being sent out. The nurses are the ones y'all gotta really deal with. I just change the diapers and clothes and clean any blood. Might hold the door open for you if I feel generous enough.

Will not give specifics, but Eastern/middle east U.S. Many places are/were offering bonuses cause of the memevirus. It helped alot two years ago when everyone was wild over it, but some places are forgoing those bonuses in favor of employee retention ones ("don't miss a day of work over 6 months, earn $600, etc.) My hourly wage is good for me to sustain living by myself. $15/hr here would be good if you're certified. I'd assume higher populous states pay more to make the job tolerable.

How many times have you molested a patient?

Honestly the nurses at these facilities are the fucking worst. I do feel for CNAs not a job I would want to do.

why the fuck aren't you a nurse yet
