100% of shit normies do with computers can be done on Linux without even dicking around in the terminal, so what's stopping companies from selling Linux computers in stores?

normies break their stuff regularly, tech support for linux is not on the same level as support for windows.
Doesn't Microsoft have a contract with PC manufacturers that they have to pay royalties to Microsoft for selling computers without Windows?
>gaming, wine

>what's stopping companies from selling Linux computers in stores?
They do, they're called Chromebooks.

freetards not being able to decide if they want to copy windows or macos and flip flopping EVERY FUCKING YEAR
>computer that somehow manages to combine both the downsides of windows and linux
i literally know a guy that has one and the only use he found for it was to use as a cumbook, which i just realised is a pretty bold fucking move considering google knows literally everything you do on this thing and stores that information on your account
normies want windows or macos
pc gaming is a thing you know
for faggots with their rainbow lights
this and >normie buys loonix
>it's just like windows
>update next year
>WTF EVERYTHING WORKS LIKE MACOS NOW
>normie buys loonix
>it's just like macOS

freetardation, not even once
>buy loonix

Companies aren't totally against selling GNU/Linux machines, but they avoid marketing this because, to most normies, how Windows works is just how a computer works. It's just not worth catering to them. Instead they offer it online so only people who specifically want it will find it.
Case in point: youtube.com
They also have to ship Windows as well to be profitable in most cases, and Microsoft used to forbid OEMs from offering GNU/Linux as an alternative, else they would be denied OEM licensing. Dell famously used to offer FreeDOS as an alternative to Windows to circumvent this.
>start a store selling linux computers
>also offer tech support
Literally free customers, what could go wrong?
>gayming
>on the
>normies
get over yourself, linux is mainstream now retard
Dell used to offer Linux (and FreeDOS) as an alternative to Windows. Seems like they still offer it, but the models are limited.
You have no idea what the normie expects. Classic mistake.
well, you can run warthunder on an abacus provided it has colored beads
>get over yourself, linux is mainstream now retard
the kernel is. Nothing about the desktop experience is.
