>make general 100 posts early before bump limit.
Dumb nigger.

i've finished building my new PC for a week and my most played game is 3DMark Demo

are there any good computer cases that DONT offer tempered glass sides?
fuck that pointless shit. its like every modern case has it now and it seems like theres no option to replace it with a solid side panel.

>not cinebench
pleb

The new fractal design torrent, they come in all sizes for all your needs or already existing boards, you can find them with a metal panel.
The xooler master NR200 if you like the smoll things in life, comes with both hard and meshed side panel. Impressive thermals for a mITX.

omg im retarded.

I did a "clean" drive completely when installing new OS on my new 1TB SSD
now hwinfo says it has over 1000GB written already what the fuck?
Did i just wreck 1/600th of my drive's lifespan for no fucking reason? I mean it was a new fucking drive so there wasnt anything in it im the first place

A solid side panel is just as bad. At least make it a vented side panel

Buy Sapphire GPUs
They're also starting to make AMD motherboards now too

What

PWNED

wipe the drive clean again and then reinstall your OS.

What current gen CPU that has similar performance than i7-5960X? I'm looking for one that has EQUAL power.

the all new i9-6969x3Dx69 Ti GHz Edition

I bought a cheap used ProDesk with skylake i5-6500 and 8 GB for $60 bucks from ebay.

I then bought two sets of 4 TB used HDD from HGST for $60 total. Then I bought a used dual USB 3.0 HDD dock for $20. I've hooked up my HDDs up to my router and are using those as NAS with speeds up to ~80MBps.

The HDDs will be my gaming/media storage that I can use with my new PC and my smartphone.

I plan on buying a $10 PCIe riser so that I can hook it up to an eGPU in a year or so when people dump their old GPUs

are you looking to match cores as well?
if not the i3-12100 matches the i7-5960x on passmark

I3 10100

What is the best air cooler I can get for AM3+ for under $100? I'm okay with used prices if it's cheaper.
Looks like the NH-D15 is not available for AM3+

u might be able to contact noctua and get the am3+ bracket for the nh-d15 for free

Does everything look decent here? any changes or recommendations?

It looks like it does actually support am3+, it just doesn't say so on their website anymore.

It looks pretty good , i would probably go with a 750-850 watt psu for future GPU upgrades but other than that its ok.

Recommending a 1060 3GB, RX 470 4GB, and a R5 5500/5600? What a terrible OP, who the fuck made this?

Kys

OP is just remembering a simpler time , when GPU's were actually affordable .
