I've engaged in countless intricate debates here (despite people's tendency to try to silence such debates with frogposting, etc) and not once has anyone ever successfully redpilled me, except into installing gentoo, which I now quite love. When an NPC is as cool, competent, and evil as myself, you might very well call them the classic edgy JRPG villain.

I disagree, this site still is the best place for laughs.
Other places just aren't funny at all... well Kiwi farms gives me an occasional insightful chuckle.
The rest of the internet is just that bad at instantaneous banter. Either it's too slow or it's genuinely lacking in content.
There are newfags and shills that post here and you can tell straight away that they're from outside just from the shitty quality of their humour. It's hard to have a sense of humour when you're trying not to offend people, right?
The other chans are just too slow and they always become too formal. Old dub chan had this problem in particular, it did have shitposting, but it was generally under layers of srs bsns attitudes.
The AI is probably going to potentially benefit this place. I do not mind AI posting that is actually intelligent and funny.
But I do get annoyed when posters are framed from the way they type things on here in a mechanical way sometimes. That just glows like hell.
I mean we do sometimes see patterns in some of the oddest anonymous posters, because they stand out like a sore thumb. But when the AI starts detailing the identity of people with accuracy, this place might be fucked as an anonymous forum.
Luckily, AI generally has similar motivations to us simply in order to camo itself here, so there's a chance it might reinforce anonymity instead.
My worry is not AI, my worry is when us people start connecting our minds directly to computer infrastructure and networks... what the hell will happen then? We have to start talking about that issue because it's nearly upon us.
