Tech workers of Any Forums, do you study in your free time to keep up with evolving tech and get better at your craft?
I work as a SWE and I refuse to study/learn outside of 9-6 M-F. I feel i'm going to fall behind because of it

I have a few home projects going on, but it's because it's something I'm interested in and isn't part of my actual job.

I usually just find time to study in between work assignments. If you're efficient enough with your work and your management is inefficient enough with planning your work, you can make it happen.
You have to study if you want wabt to be a senior engieneer at FAGMAN
but i dont want to trade hair for being a senior engineer at fagman
i graduated a month ago i cant find shit so im power levelling as much as possible before my time and energy is drained by work. right now im learning rust and systems programming (i specialize as a full stack web dev) and i am reading pic related as well.
>he doesnt want to triple his salary
???
I study during work hours, max 2-3 hours to keep up to date. Your company should pay you for employee development, but if they don't do it openly, do it secretly.
No, I'm a people person
I try to study while I "work". Outside that I just want to play games and whatnot.
