I need new headphones for gaming on my pc, any recommendations? >Swiss >200-300$ >Closed >Over Ear >Gaming, light music listening, video watching >needs to be wireless, but no bluetooth
Good morning sirs. I'm looking for an amp/dac combo for my HE400SE, preferably around 50$. I've considered FiiO E10K. Are there any other that are as good or better at this price range? I'm perfectly fine with used ones.

>>needs to be wireless, but no bluetooth This leaves you exclusively with shitty gaymen headsets so pick whatever you like the look of most

>This leaves you exclusively with shitty gaymen headsets I kinda suspected this answer and maybe hoped there would be atleast ONE good wireless headset. Fuck, i don't really want to replace mine i have now, maybe i'll try to repair them.

I remember there being a list of top ANC headphones in here. Is there still anything like that somewhere? Need something because otherwise I'll go nuts because of multiple neighbors getting new bathrooms installed and I'm working from home. I'm using hearing protecting with a pair of TWS beneath them, but that starts irritating after a while, that is if the batteries don't run out.
In case no list: >NL >150 target 300 max. >Closed (obviously) >Over-ear >Audio quality doesn't need to be amazing, as long as it's not awful. Listening to all kinds of music, but mostly podcasts, electronic music and rock. >Wireless, ANC (and isolation/passive NC) is most important, together with comfort. I'll need to be able to walk around with it all day. Decent mic included would be nice, but not important.
I can recommend you the Sony WH1000XM3, they served me well until recently. Very comfy, good sound and ANC.

Was already looking at that one, and chances are I'm getting that one. Maybe they'll get cheaper now the XM5 is out. I do remember there being another one in this list that had slightly better AMS, was it Bose? Not sure anymore. I would like to give it a compare before I buy something.

>lots of high-end wireless headphones don't have Aptx I've been out of it for a while, but is ACC better or something?

All you need is a Hifiman planar of your choice, entry level amp and oratory's eq preset.

Any tips on cheap decent *whatevers* to try & fall asleep? Had been considering it in the past, but put it off & recently went on a trip where I was kept awake due to snoring buddy so I'm considering it again. I tried basic IEMs & it made a ton of noise when rubbing against pillows. Someone mentioned it being stethoscope effect & braided cables helping/preventing it but since it was mainly the actual ear rubbing, would that even have caused it? I've also been considering the like headband style on ear stuff, but all the ones I've found are clones of the same chink shit and I've heard a lot of people complain about loud notifications
Budget is like 30€ (unless there's something significantly better for more) & I'm moreso looking for something that's very comfortable (since it's to sleep in) and has workable audio.
I've had bad experiences with them, at least the disposable foam/wax based ones. Plus they wouldn't allow me to listen to asmr which is the main point
I toss around while trying to sleep quite a bit so I don't think static speakers are the best idea

Anyone? Where is that gif from? I have to watch that video
If they're still in your price range, you also could get the newer Model, the XM4. But i've heard they're not as good soundwise as the XM3. I can't speak with personal experience about the XM4 though, never tested them since i always skip a generation (have XM5 now)

Technically, the LDAC codec is even better than aptX or ACC, but alot of older devices and iToddler phones don't support this codec, so you have to be careful that your phone and your headphones are compatible, or else you're getting shit audio quality. If you can, always go for LDAC supported devices

Tyll was great. I remember watching him back in 2011/12 a lot.

>tfw my HD280s lost their low-mid range around 250Hz in one ear I got them in late high school and spent the past 6+ years treating them like shit and it finally took its toll; I bought new phones since, but when I do use the 280s I have to EQ out the right ear so they just sound like gamer "muh bass" phones
