How hard is it to adjust to one of these memes after using normal keyboard and mouse for 25 natural years of my life? I wanna get them my wrists really hurt

What's the deal with trackballs? Are they good for things?
(I don't play video games)

okay

if your handies and wristies hurt from sitting at your computer all day you should probably get up and do something like picking up a barbell for christs sake

But satan why can't I do both
sit at my computer with an ergonomic mouse and then get up and have a break
The latter I already do, just today after cooding I went out and cleaved some wood logs like a lumberjack

I've been using a mouse for 35 years. Zero problems, just get off your fat ass occasionally.

You’re gonna look gay that’s about it. Probably very easy to adjust to it

I use a trackball because i had really bad wrist problems. Helps a lot and you get used to it. I tried a Kensington Orbit and it was garbage but use a logitech thumb ball now.
I hurt my wrists from cracking a forehead during a sparring session unironically.

OP I used normal shit all my life in 0 ergonomics position and no issues.
Then big sad took over and spent months doing 2-3hour+ edging sessions and guess what after I got carpal tunnel and all kinds of shit in my right hand I started using the left.
Now scheduled for surgery because both are fucked.
Back was fine, but since I was hunched over in an awkward position for all those hours I got a hernia too.
TL:DR don't avoid lolis and you'll be fine.

go ahead pal enjoy

It's not very hard to adjust, I own that exact vertical mouse and use it daily.

Pretty easy actually, they are made to put your hands in "natural position" or whatever, so you get used to it pretty quickly.

Having to go back to conventional keyboard and mouse is a different story though.

>I don't play video games
Yes, quite good, but you have to get a decent one where the ball has some mass to it so you can give it a spin to fling the cursor long distances quickly, and you have to get used to using it.

>game requires two buttons at most
user, I...

They are made to sell you shit you don't need.

Yes and point being?

I'll check him out. Thanks.

didn't ask cope

straight bones are a meme, but top is better because there is less stress on the carpal tunnel

I had wrist pain at work after using a shitty mouse and shitty keyboard for too long. The problem went away as soon as I switched to peripherals that aren't shit. I didn't have to get any of that special ergonomic crap. I literally just had my PM buy me a gaymer mouse (Razer Deathadder iirc) and had them bring me a random Microsoft keyboard the IT guys had laying around.
The moral of the story is that I will never use Apple peripherals again because they are designed for alien children and not for human adults.

Bought this and after one week my RSI was fully healed and I'm 92% accurate compared to a normal mouse. Pic related also has 3 additional programmable buttons.
