>gtx 1630 soon

as long as they get rid of the 710/730 and the 1030 replaces the 710/730 in Nvidia's lineup and the 1630 replaces the 1030 its fine.
nvidia shouldn't be selling the 710/730, they're not even supporting them anymore.

the computer crumb girle

Would be a good htpc card if it had the turing encoder

>FE 3060ti in stock in the UK for nearly 2 hours now
Is the shortage over?

price

Can you get 1440p at 165 Hz over DP 1.2? I thought it was capped at 144 Hz for that res.

bump

What's a good ATX case that
>has good airflow
>is not FUCKHUGE
>doesn't cost more than 200$

Phanteks P300A

Meshify 2 Compact

I am going to buy a 2nd monitor purely because it matches the 1080p 240hz monitor I get
I give up on getting a 27" 4K monitor, I already have a 4K60hz TV with better contrast if I want to enjoy movie since I think high-refresh rate should be the priority for a PC nowadays

not that I have any idea what Im talking about since I'm still on a 60hz monitor until the 240hz gets here this evening

>Phanteks P300A
good option but kinda ugly
>Meshify 2 Compact
fractal design cases are shit. empty space and 0 airflow

pic related, can I assume this will be decent?

the MSI Optix equivalent is like CAD$150 more expensive, and I dont want the M27Q because it's BGR since this will be used for general PC usage more often (while the 24" 240hz will be my primary gaming monitor, especially for emulating older games that will look too weird in higher res, it has a 60hz and 120hz strobing mode for better clarity on those older games too so the headroom on refresh rate is still beneficial)

why is pc building so hard, sers...

consider ordering your 3060 from EVGA with an associates code for an extra ~$10 off

1.2 is up to 1440p@165hz. Most 144hz and 165hz 1440p panels are just overclocked 120hz panels.

pic related if the front looked better
bottom intake makes a lot of sense on smaller cases like the NR200 too
hot air go up, not sideways

I got my first aftermarket CPU cooler lately and WTF, this shit is actually super silent and much more effective than the shitty stock cooler. No more killing my ears during the summer.

It turns out, aftermarket coolers aren't a meme after all. I should have done it years ago.

I wish someone made a case like NR200, but ATX
Cooler Master was close with the QL500, but it has small holes and almost no clearance at the bottom
The also had the SL600M, but it doesn't have holes in the rear to put the CPU cooler at the back as an intake so CPU temps suck
I saw some Jonsbo cases with that layout, but I don't know if they are actually good, or just chinkshit

my mistake. looks like they've improved significantly.

Well yeah, lower temps = lower rpm = lower noise.

My 360 Arctic Freezer AIO barely spins its fans so its dead silent. I can't ever go back to the stock cooler which ramped up and down at idle.

Meshify and Torrent lines have mesh fronts
Defines are the closed ones

looks good but that case is fuckin huge

No way. I had an ATX system years ago and temperatures and noise were always an issue.
