Proprietary closed-source subscription-only software
vs
Free libre open-source GPL software developed by a community.
Doesn't need much shilling.
one requires plex pass monthly $4.99, annual $39.99, lifetime $119.99 if you want hardware accelerated transcoding
one is free
which one requires plex pass monthly $4.99, annual $39.99, lifetime $119.99 if you want hardware accelerated transcoding?
emby lol
Same, font is gay.
why is everything need to be rounded and flat? that looks like a font of the alphabet on elementary school.
Idk probably black rock
I kinda want a font that looks like a perfect elementary school font. Futura without the idiosyncrasies
pretty sure plex is still using Python 2. Not sure why anyone would use plex. the people that support it are probably retarded and bought the plex pass gay shit.
talking about plex here - and it is the fucking logo you hate? JUST the logo?
holy fuck the bar is low these days.
I made my sister pay for it so she can watch movies on her phone
I discovered the world of plex shares a few months ago.
Easier than downloading the shit myself
Jellyfin is pure ass cope more
It's fine, retard.
My IPTV provider has one and it's very handy. You can even make requests to a bot in discord that will download what you want. That said, the quality is often lacking compared to what I would download on my own.
Makes it look like Netflix or some shitty streaming service
I like Jellyfin more, therefore it's better.
it looks exactly the same as the old logo, just lowercase.
Who cares.
If you told me this is their old logo and the caps one is the new one, I would just shrug either. They look identical.
What kind of retard would use Plex anyways?
>hurrr... I unironically want to be forced to login to some remote server to access my own local content with a shitty web UI.
If you really need something like this, use Jellyfin. At least then you get to keep user management local instead of being forced to go through Plex's servers.
